For each reservation at Swiblati Lodge,

we donate 1 euro to DAKTARI

DAKTARI is a school created by Michele (who is French) and Ian Merrifield, located in the bush 50 km from Hoedspruit.

This association aims to educate disadvantaged local children on the importance to be given to their environment by relying on its own orphanage for wild animals. Each week, the association receives a group of 8 children from surrounding colleges.

In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.

Housed and fed on site, they learn on a daily basis, thanks to many volunteers, and through multiple activities, the basics of respect for nature and animals, knowing how to live together, working with animals but also points of general culture and for the elderly, a help to position oneself in the world of work.
